INFLIBNET Information and Library Network Centre (INFLIBNET Centre) is an organization that promotes and facilitates libraries and information resources for Indian further education. Its premises are in GandhiNagar, Gujarat. The Centre started in March 1991 as a project under Inter-University Centre for Astronomy and Astrophysics. It became an independent entity in June 1996, reporting to the University Grants Commission of India under the Ministry of Education. INFLIBNET runs a nationwide high-speed data network connecting university libraries and other information centers.
