PHASE - 1 TEACHING PRACTICE BI-WEEKLY REPORT 2023

                                                              Bi- Weekly Report

20th November 2023 - 8th December 2023

On 21st November 2023, my concerned general teacher, Mr. Byju Crips Sir had come to observe the class. He gave necessary instructions to conduct a conscientization program and school-based activity as a part of 3rd semester B.Ed. curriculum.

On 24th November 2023, I conducted a yoga session for the +1 students. the school ED club conducted a food fest on 30th November 2023. I provided necessary instructions for conducting the food fest. I t was an interesting program.

On 1st December 2023, I conducted an achievement test for the +1 students on the subject Business Studies. With regards to the achievement test, I conducted the Diagnostic test on 5th December 2023.

On 6th December 2023, I held a Conscientization program on the topic 'Global Warming'.

On 7th December 2023, School based activity was conducted with the active participation of the students. There was a poster making competition for the students. 

The topic handled in this week was business ethics, environmental pollution, double column cash book, bank reconciliation statement, preparation of the financial statements and for the plus two class was directing and staffing. I effectively completed all my assigned topic within the time allotted for me with the help of various techniques and strategies of teaching. me concerned teacher helped me a lot for the teaching process. 

The last day of my 1st phase of teaching practice was on 8th December 2023. On that day I had a small interaction session with my students. It was really overwhelming for me. 

Through the 1st phase of teaching practice, I learnt through experiences and the areas which should be improved.

I am really thankful to the Principal, Teachers, Staffs and students of Vimala Hridaya GHSS, Kollam for giving me such an incredible experience.

 Weekly Report 15th July 2024-19th July 2024 As part of the B.Ed. curriculum, my concerned teacher in Vimala Hridaya School evaluated my class through observation, provided scores for the completion of the lesson template and the teaching process.  He assigned me the plus one class to teach business studies. O n 18th July 2024, as a part of class observance my concerned teacher Mr. Jojo Francis Sir came to our class and gave us advice to conduct the achievement test and diagnostic test for the students. I conducted the achievement test for the plus two students on the subject Business Studies on 19th July 2024.

PHASE - 2 TEACHING PRACTICE WEEKLY REPORT 2024

  Weekly Report 22nd July 2024- 26th July 2024 In this week I had completed the first chapter of business studies in the plus one class. all the teaching aids and methods of teaching helped me to complete the portion. The use of power point presentations , video clippings related to the topics, chart presentations and different activities made the first year students active in the class. This was the last week of my 2nd phase teaching practice 2024. Following the achievement test I conducted the diagnostic test for the plus two students on the subject Business Studies for those who scored below average marks in the test. After that I provided remedial teaching for the students. On 25th July 2024, the school organized a book fair for the students, I got the opportunity to take part in the book fair. 26th July 2024 was the last day of my 2nd phase of teaching practice. TEACHING PRACTICE PHASE - 1 BI-WEEKLY REPORT 2023

    Bi- Weekly Report 13th September 2023 - 27th  September 2023 As part of the B.Ed. curriculum, I started the first phase of teaching practice in Vimala Hridaya GHSS, Kollam. It was commenced on 13th September 2023. After proper instructions and guidance from the school principal and respective teachers. I was allotted to the +1 batch. As it was my first day only introductory classes were taken. the next day, I was asked to provide career guidance class for both +1 & +2 students of commerce batch.  From 15th September 2023, I started teaching business studies in +1 class. The topic assigned to me was the chapter Business services.  In this bi-week I taught the areas of the chapter business services such as the meaning of services, banking ,functions of commercial banks, e-banking, insurance , principles of insurance, life insurance and marine insurance.
